You know how your kids do something over and over again that impresses you enough to make you go grab the video camera but when you finally return with the camera they never replicate what attracted your attention in the first place so that you're once again left with some insipid video footage that you just end up deleting?
Well, this is not one of those situations.
When you've got a big booty, make sure you clear the ottoman. (The only injuries were to Darwin's ego, so I was totally allowed to laugh. A lot.)

Super Heroes
I bought a new tripod and the kids obliged me with a "super hero" fight while I checked out my new rig. The resulting images were the perfect opportunity for my first attempt at an animated gif.
Then I realized my first gif was the perfect opportunity to use the "lens flare" filter in Photoshop Elements.
I can't wait to show the kids their new powers...

Thomas Edison Was an Asshole
There are two things I cannot get enough of on YouTube these days: Drunk History and the Old Spice guy's video responses to fans. Drunk History is like the History Channel meets Jager-bombs and boxed wine. And the Old Spice guy... well, who doesn't know him at this point? I highly recommend his four-part Alyssa Milano responses.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Diapers
I pretty much only buy Target brand disposable diapers. Before the twins came along, I paid the premium price for name-brand diapers like Pampers and Huggies. Having multiple kids in diapers at the same time, though, made it very apparent how much extra money we were spending for those diapers instead of using a generic or store brand. It turns out that the Target diapers work and fit as well or better than anything else we've ever used. And they cost significantly less.
That being said, I really like these two Huggies commercials I saw on RebelDad's blog. They're notable because they're funny and because they feature dads. Personally, I couldn't care less about the fact that diaper companies target their advertisements towards women when there are plenty of dads that are primary caregivers in homes. Of course companies target women with advertising when the majority of their consumers are women. It makes sense. Plenty of women drink beer, but the vast majority of beer commercials are targeted towards men. I get it. You go where the spending is. But, it is still interesting when you start seeing new approaches like these commercials below. I'll still be buying Target brand diapers, but thanks for the entertainment, Huggies.

Reflex
This is an old video of Truman (previously posted on Hoolie's blog). EVERY time that I threw him in the air he'd have this funny leg reflex. So random.
