I'm pretty sure these starlings are what briefly invaded our neighborhood. You can see their "swarms" all over around here. Usually you see them flying around like this or covering miles of power lines. I had never seen them stop in our neighborhood before.

I keep telling you, this isn't "a few birds!"
I was drawn to our front window because it seemed as if the sun had suddenly gone behind a large dark cloud. It was no cloud. There were thousands of them. Maybe tens of thousands. They stretched on as far as I could see up and down the street. On houses. In yards. Daring me to step outside. I was too unnerved to do anything more than snap a few quick photos through a partially opened front door.
And then they were gone.

And then they were gone.

Restricted Area
Did I mention that I recently stumbled upon a secret facility where rainbows are made? It was either that or a mill where unicorns* are processed into glitter glue. I used my phone to quickly snap this photo of their smokestacks before security noticed.

*Don't worry, they only use the old, gimpy unicorns.

Reflex
This is an old video of Truman (previously posted on Hoolie's blog). EVERY time that I threw him in the air he'd have this funny leg reflex. So random.

Man Babies

OK, I finally created a ManBabies picture. I know, high priority, right? This site is so random, yet so funny. It's either an incredibly stupid idea or it's pure genius. I haven't decided which yet, but in the meantime I'm wasting plenty of time scrolling through these freakish pictures.

Work in Progress
A few months ago, Amelia took on a totally new, random laugh. It only lasted a few weeks, but we caught it on film. I thought it was cute, but it probably would have ruined many a dating opportunity when she got older. Not that that would be a bad thing...
