All Clear
It appears that bug that had a grip on our household for the last ten days is really and truly gone. I escaped unscathed, but Jameson starts his new daycare on Tuesday, so I can only imagine what wonderful microscopic intruders he'll be bringing home. And Jameson is the perfect host, judging by the way he greeted a little girl at tumbling class on Saturday... with a big smooch right on the lips. But I can't blame him, you know, with the rock star lifestyle and all. Speaking of rock stars, the hard rock band that Kip and I started, Satan's Hairline, has over a quarter million fans. We've got some gigs on the West Coast coming up that should really put us on the rock map. If I can only get my "Don't Fear the Reaper" guitar solo nailed down... To our true fans, don't worry, we'll never sell out. Satan's Hairline will burn out before you ever see our music in Starbucks.

Legend V
Amazingly, this virus is still hanging on. More amazingly, I still am showing no signs of infection. Some say it's genetic. Some say it's luck. I say it's years of hard livin' that have conditioned my gastrointestinal system to handle any foreign invaders. Sunday afternoon trips for Sliders? Coffee and Chili Cheese Fritos for breakfast? Those frozen Jose Ole mini fried tacos that looked like dog vomit on the inside? All training for this historical outbreak.
Cast iron stomach or not, I live in perpetual fear that my time will come.

Legend III
Behavioral note - an infected female got out of bed today. Now it's possible decreased brain function or growing scarcity of food is causing them to... ignore their basic survival instincts. Trips to the bathroom number in the dozens. Social de-evolution appears complete. Typical human behavior is now entirely absent.
Legend II
Day one thousand and one. We came in close contact with a hive today. One host barfed directly on my face. My face. Blood tests confirm that I remain immune to both the airborne and contact strains. The vaccine trials continue. I'm still unable to transfer my immunity to infected hosts. The Barfusdiarhian Virus is... elegant.
I Am Legend
My name is James. I am a survivor living in Ohio. I am broadcasting on all blog frequencies. If you are out there... if anyone is out there... I can provide food, I can provide shelter, I can provide barf bags. If there's anybody out there... anybody... please. You are not alone.
