Weekend in Pictures

It was a busy one. And I actually have pictures to go with it.

We kicked off the weekend by hosting a hot dog party (no pigeons invited) and a neighborhood car wash. Two and half hours of fully occupied children AND the car got cleaned. That's parenting. Those festivities were followed by having a couple of friends over for cards. I was, unfortunately, 0 for the night on euchre. Dammit. And then baseball. What summer weekend is complete without baseball?

The Whole Summer

Fall doesn't officially begin until September 23, but let's face it, summer is over. School has started, the first soccer games are in the bag, week one of the NFL season is over, the pools are closed and it's actually getting cold at night.

So, in honor of the changing of the seasons, today I present to you a montage of images from Summer 2011.
