I mentioned previously that one of my favorite cartoon characters is Sheldon J. Plankton from SpongeBob SquarePants. Maybe I find him funny simply by contrast to the miserable rubbish that dominates cartoons these days. There are some real animation gems out there but the majority is crrraaap. SpongeBob SquarePants is one of the shows I enjoy as much, if not more, than Jameson and in particular I think Plankton is hilarious. He's like a combination of Charlie Brown, Newman, and The Brain. Plankton is voiced by the multitalented Doug Lawrence.

Here's a fine sample of Plankton at his best. If you want to see more, just flip on one of the dozen Nickelodeon branded channels out there. At nearly every hour of the day SpongeBob SquarePants is playing on at least one of them. Or check out the official site.
