Birthday Vacation Part I

For Jameson's birthday this year (back in September) we headed down to Cincinnati for a weekend long birthday trip and official Summer send-off. I think we were feeling a little antsy having not taken a true family vacation this year and Jameson's birthday was a good excuse to get out of the house. Yes, we drove less than an hour away, but the fact alone that we were staying in a hotel made it feel like we had really gone somewhere. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge all weekend. It was a little pricey given the quality of the accommodations, but at the same time it was the most kid friendly place we've ever stayed and ultimately was well worth the price.

Jameson in the lobby.

The creepy animatronic display in the lobby. A hit among the kiddies.

You don't want to know how much this room was...

Some Spongebob birthday booty.

All three of our kids are waterbugs, so this was the perfect place for us.

Jameson LOVED the slides.

And Dad took the kids solo long enough for Mom to get some deserved R&R.
