We're just waiting right now. Julie was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning. She was having contractions and was showing signs of going into pre-term labor. Her fetal firbronectin test came back positive which is an indicator of likely pre-term delivery. The goal now is to do what we can to prevent pre-term delivery and includes things as simple as keeping Julie lying horizontally to remove pressure on the cervix and just keeping her hydrated with an IV. Since being admitted to the hospital, her contractions have slowed significantly. That's a very good sign. We are at 32 1/2 weeks right now and ideally we would go another couple weeks. The latest ultrasound estimated the babies at each over four pounds, which is also good news. The hospital will keep monitoring the babies, Julie and the contractions and we'll hope for the best.
